The Roots in Concert

I had the pleasure of shooting the Roots in concert at the Fillmore East on the 30th.

I have been a fan of the group since as far back as I can remember and getting a chance to check out their show and do some creative work of my own was truly a great experience.

They played many of their new-ish songs, including several from How I Got Over, and did a crazy medley of Sweet Child O’ Mine and Bad to the Bone.

Really an awesome way to close out 2011.  Thanks to the Fillmore and the Roots for making it happen.
